In two academic years and four semesters, some of the most experienced and highly positioned professors and renowned experts in public sector will impart knowledge and skills to our students. The study is designed in accordance to current managerial standards and best practices from the EU, such as Master of Public Administration, Hochschule fur Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin – Germany; MAS Public Management, Luzern University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Switzerland; MSc Public Management and Governance, London School of Economics – United Kingdom; MPM Public Management, Carnegie Mellon University, Heinz College – United States of America and many other.

The lectures will be carried out in our modern, well-equipped location in Zagreb, 23 Lastovska Street. Online classes will be available to part-time students in order to facilitate the demands of combining studying and working.

The study Public Sector Management provides knowledge required for a specific expert profile – a professional specialist of the public sector management, competent for performing complex and various tasks in parts of the public sector. He/she has the knowledge of organisation, economy, law, environmental protection, energy management, risk and project management, HR management and is familiar with issued concerning IT, strategic and project management.

The study programme is also focused on the knowledge needed for understanding legal and economic framework of the public sector, occupational health and safety, information security, information and communication management, social responsibility of entities in the public sector and integrated management systems.

Upon completion of the study, the students will have comprehensive knowledge required for performing business processes in administrative environment. They will be familiarized with public policies, regulations and legal acts as well as the procedures of their creating and passing. The emphasis will be put on connecting examples of good practice with the latest theoretical achievements, in order to ensure compliance with the international norms and standards in implementing system management.
